Ryan Reynolds’ side extended their lead in the league, thus securing a 2-1 win at the Racecourse Ground.

It was a brilliant night at UFC 286 when Leon Edwards defeated Kamaru Usman in the welterweight main event. The night was followed by Justin Gaethje’s win over Rafael Fiziev in the lightweight co-main event. The Wrexham superstars were then able to witness a top-notch performance from the UFC stars at the O2 Arena, thus enjoying their victory.

In fact, co-owner Rob McElhenney also praised his stars by posting their video to his Instagram story saying: “What a great day followed by a great night.” Along with McElhenney, fans were also in awe of the Wrexham stars celebrating the important victory in style.

It really was a well deserved night for the boys, who fought hard after taking a crucial league victory. They will now start preparing for a crucial home game against York City as they look for a 6 point lead in the league table.

Wrexham gets major league boost

With a win against Bromley, Wrexham have still maintained their position at the top. Both goals came in the second half when a brilliant brace from Paul Mullin was enough to win the game. A Bromley goal tried to break his confidence, but the Dragons managed to hold on until the final whistle. However, this is not the end of good for the Welsh club as their fierce rivals Notts County suffered a shock draw.

The Magpies held on to a 1-1 draw against Barnet, thus giving their arch-rivals a four-point lead. Both goals came in the first half since neither of them could score in the second half. Macaulay Longstaff’s goal gave the Notts a perfect lead. However, Idris Kanu leveled the score just before half time, thus ending the match in a draw.
