
LANSDALE, Pa. — The Bristol High softball team is off to a 2-0 start after their second win over Renaissance Academy in three days.
Bristol beat Renaissance, 3-2, on Wednesday when standout freshman Breanna Slack struck out 15. Bristol had just one hit, but it was big when Adrianna Habib singled in a run in the fourth.
On Monday, Bristol opened their season with a 6-3 win over Renaissance. Slack pitched four-hit ball and struck out 13 for his first high school win. He was also the offensive star going 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

HOLLAND, Pa. — The Jems had 16 hits and rallied with two runs in the bottom of the seventh to win a wild fight.
Ava Tisiouplis doubled twice for VJM, while Leah Pagano went 3 for 4 with five RBIs. Lindsay Rooney homered and drove in three. Julia Cassidy doubled the tying run and Kate Sonnie singled the winner with two outs. Jayda Hempill did Truman’s double.
