A woman caught on camera attacking police during the Kill the Bill riots has been jailed.
Indigo Bond, 21, was seen kicking officers during the demonstration in Bristol on Sunday March 21, 2021.
“Compelling video evidence”, including security cameras, cell phones and police body cameras, showed her using abusive language and gestures towards police.
Evidence was also found that she threw wood at the officers.
She had been drinking in the hours leading up to the riot, police said.
Bond pleaded guilty to violent disorder and was jailed for 20 months at Bristol Crown Court on Friday.
She was at the forefront of the riot and was aggressive throughout the incident, Judge James Patrick said.
Bond, from the Bristol suburb of Fishponds, has become the 31st person to be sentenced following the riots.
So far, the defendants have been sentenced to a total of 96 years and four months behind bars.
Speaking after sentencing was handed down, Detective Superintendent James Riccio said: “The compelling visual evidence collected against him was collated in a painstaking review of thousands of hours of video footage and led to today’s sentencing.
“More than 30 people have already been sentenced following the riots almost two years ago and we are continuing to work with the Crown Prosecution Service before more people appear in court in the coming weeks and months.”
In November last year a woman who urinated next to the police during the riot walked free from court.
Fleur Moody was sentenced to eight months in prison, suspended for 18 months, after admitting to a fight.
Two other co-defendants received 21-month prison sentences after pleading guilty to violent disorder.

However, 44 officers were injured and at least £212,000 of property damage was caused, during what DS Riccio previously described as a “disgraceful night” of violence.
