Love Island couple Jessie Wynter and Will Young have admitted they spent their first real date outside of the villa completing a huge romance shop around Tesco. After being kicked off the show hosted by Bristol’s Maya Jama in South Africa, loving Will, 23, said he’d love to walk Jessie, 26, down the aisle.
The Mirror reports that rather than return to Tasmania, Jessie joined Will in Buckinghamshire after they were thrown out of the villa before the final. The couple were relieved to say goodbye to drama in South Africa after the islanders appeared to turn on Jessie in her final week.
The personal trainer was branded “fake” in a row with the other islanders. This was a second test for the couple, who said they came close to leaving the show after Will kissed 28-year-old Layla Al-Mamani while at Casa Amor.

Now happily away from prying eyes in the UK, the couple have been enjoying their freedom. Jessie said, “We’ve had a great time. We took me to the farm, we went back to the field.”
“We went to Tesco for our first date – we did the big shopping, bought some snacks. Then we went to the village pub for steak and chips and a chicken burger.
“It was very nice to leave the village, and since we left we have been much happier. We don’t have people interfering in our relationship.”
Already a TikTok star, Will also opened up about his sexuality, which some fans had been questioning during his time on the show. He said: “I was 100% myself in the villa. I’m happy with myself and I’m happy with Jessie.”
“My brother is gay, so I’m all for it. I don’t think anyone can say that to me in a negative way. As a person, I’m very outgoing and charismatic, and I’m not going to change.” .”
Jessie added: “It’s 2023 and judging people’s sexuality is outdated and needs to go out the window.”
Will told the publication that he couldn’t wait to start his life with Jessie. He said: “I wouldn’t be with her if I thought she wasn’t marriage material. Our plan is to split our time between the UK and Tasmania.”
Jessie is also looking forward to introducing Will to her family. “I still can’t believe I went to Love Island and found the love I was looking for,” she said.
