Manchester City U21 host rival Manchester United at the Academy Stadium for a Premier League 2 clash on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues currently sit in second place in the league table, while the Reds sit in eighth position. City have lost just twice in Premier League 2 this term, with both defeats taking place last October. United, meanwhile, have endured a somewhat difficult campaign and have won just six of their 20 games.

It was City who came out on top when the two teams met in the first under-21 derby of the season in November. The locals opened the scoring, but the Blues quickly took control of the game and won 6-1 at the Leigh Sports Village, with four goals from Carlos Borges.

United’s match against Leicester City earlier this week has been postponed, while the Blues have also not played since early March.

The start is at 12:00 pm; you can follow all the action from Academy Stadium LIVE below.
