Some of the city’s most stylish people walk through the doors of The Corner Barber Shop, in Stevenson Square, and have been doing so for 15 years.

So what makes it work?
Where is your favorite hidden gem?
Al Faisal. I have been eating there for years, and the reason for that is that it is fresh – they cook every morning and the food is very fresh. I like it. The people are also great.
What is your favorite view of the city or in the city?
I love the Northern Quarter, Manchester in general is beautiful, but my answer is Piccadilly Gardens when it’s empty. It is spectacular.
Where is the best place to go for dinner in the city?
I like going to Ask Italian, it’s a beautiful place.
What are the five words that best describe the city?
Amazing, excellent, beautiful, beautiful, and I love it!
City or United?
It used to be United, but as soon as Sir Alex Ferguson left, I was gone too. Honestly, that’s why.
Liam or Noel?
Liam Gallagher, he’s the one.
Your favorite pub in the city is…?
I haven’t been out in a while, but around here it has to be Soup Kitchen. It is a beautiful place. I also like Hula downstairs, it’s a beautiful little bar. Whiskey Jar is good too, it’s great for music and whiskey.
What is the one change you would make in Manchester if you could…
I would take every homeless person and put them in a safe place. It’s sad to see so many people on the street without a roof, no food, and only bags.
I mean they are human beings, it’s not nice for them. I hope whoever reads this who is responsible for the city will do something about it please. They deserve it.
