Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan had to call an ambulance at a theme park hotel after her son was in an accident. Earlier this week, the former Coronation Street actress returned to social media after a short break and offered her loyal fans a little update.
After a short break from social media, the actress returned to Instagram to update her fans, as she hadn’t been as active as usual. As reported by the Manchester Evening News, the 32-year-old shares a video about her story on February 22.
She said: “An eventful few days and that’s why I haven’t been on my socials.”

Helen then left her thousands of fans waiting after saying she would return to the site to update them the same day. The Corrie star returned to Instagram the following day, February 23, to tell her fans what had happened as she headed to Paris with her eldest daughter, Matilda, and her son Charlie, who will be two years next month.
The Rosie Webster actress joked that she looked “scruffy” as she tried to keep her young son entertained while wearing a pink sweater and her hair in a messy bun.
Helen said in the video: “I have a chocolate croissant on me and I’m scruffy.”
She then shared with her fans how she brought her three children to the CBeebies Land Hotel in Alton Towers. They went to the theme park earlier this week for a gift for her four-year-old daughter, Delilah.
“I went to Cbeebies World because it’s Delilah’s favorite hotel. She’s obsessed with the hotel and literally talks about it all the time and literally had a blast.”
“I took all three on my own and it was good and we loved it and my friend who helps me with the kids came to see me during the day and then we went to a water park.”
Helen went on to talk about how her son had an accident while at the water park. “To make a long story short, Charlie slipped, really, really bad and it was horrible, absolutely horrible and I had to call an ambulance and he broke his clavicle in two. It was horrible, so I spent like six hours in the hospital. in Stoke”.
He added: “I’d like to say thank you to the paramedics, the doctors and the nurses who were amazing so thank you very much. That was horrible, it’s horrible, horrible, horrible to listen to your son in pain. It’s just horrendous, but he “It’s fine. There’s really not much you can do for it. Apparently it heals itself, but it’s horrible when you’re a mother and you just wish you could take all the pain away.”
She also wrote: “He’s fine bless him x Just lots of love, attention and hair watching him like a hawk x.” Helen also revealed that the accident happened the day before she was taking her eldest daughter, Matilda, to Paris on what was to be a girls’ trip. “I promised Matilda for months, she always wanted to go to Paris and I didn’t want to disappoint her.”
But after some tears from her seven-year-old son, Helen said she still made it to Paris and took Charlie with her, as well as enlisting the help of a friend who helps her care for her children, whom she shares with footballer Scott Sinclair. . Later, she showed some pictures of the boy standing by the Eiffel Tower and wrote next to them: “Charlie has been amazing bless him he is so brave x at the Eiffel Tower today.”
